Brief of Works

Maiden Gully scope of works included the construction of a new general learning facility including 6 classrooms coming off a central walkway, staff office and meeting room, a multi-purpose space at the north entrance, and new male, female and DDA accessible toilets and shower amenities.

Construction works consisted of core filled blockwork and suspended slab application with finishes such as lightweight cladding and vitracore feature wall.

Additional external works consisted of new mass filled concrete steps and handrails to create an entrance way to the northern classrooms, new ramp access to the west of the building. Each classroom was fitted with interactive and operable sliding doors, highbay windows, automated louvres, suspended light fixtures.

The new external synthetic grass oval included a large shade sail, concrete sleeper retaining wall, mudstone boulders and landscaping, new drinking fountain and irrigation system.
